Highlights-London Soho

Returning the rental car required laps around Heathrow (almost) because I kept missing the turns. I stayed on the left while doing it, which was the important thing. Car returned with scratches noted (I was covered), I traveled to the apartment in Soho using buses (Tube worker strike). The location was excellent and, while small, was large enough for my needs. Key feature: two wall-mounted electric heaters, which provided excellent heat (first thing I look for). I did a National Gallery speed tour followed by a walk around Trafalgar Square, both less than a kilometer (they don't 'do' metric in England, but I do) from the apartment. This apartment was around the corner from an AirBnB apartment where I stayed for nine days in 2019. The sexy underwear shop across the street from this apartment was the landmark I recognized. No, I didn’t go in. Leather chafes.
